Threaded inserts are pre-embedded/inserted fasteners specifically designed for unthreaded substrates. Their core function is to implant standard internal threads into substrates such as plastics, wood, thin sheets, and die-cast aluminum—materials where direct tapping is impossible or insufficient—achieving a reliable threaded connection. They also reinforce threads, repair stripped teeth, and increase load-bearing capacity. Suitable for precision assembly, lightweight components, and fragile substrates, they are widely used in 3C electronics, automotive interiors, plastic molds, aerospace, and other fields.

1. Pre-embedded injection-molded threaded inserts (plastic substrate preferred)
   Core principle: The insert is pre-embedded in the mold before injection molding. During injection, it fuses with the molten plastic to form a strong, integrated unit, eliminating the need for subsequent secondary processing.
   Core products: Injection molded embedded nuts, hot melt embedded inserts, plastic threaded sleeves, cylindrical/hexagonal embedded studs.
2. Press-fit/expansion riveting type threaded inserts (for thin plates/sheet metal)
   Core principle: Through press riveting/expansion riveting process, the insert is plastically engaged with the thin plate. It is a one-sided operation, requires no tapping, and is suitable for thin-walled metal substrates.
   Core products: Press-fit threaded inserts, expansion rivet nuts, sheet metal threaded sleeves, blind hole press-fit inserts
3. Self-tapping/screw-in threaded inserts (general-purpose and convenient type)
   Core principle: It features self-tapping threads, eliminating the need for pre-drilling and tapping. Simply screw it into the substrate manually or with tools for easy installation and on-site repair.
   Core products: Self-tapping screw inserts, screw-in thread inserts, threaded inserts for wood, and repair threaded sleeves.
4. Adhesive/press-in threaded inserts (compatible with special substrates)
   Core principle: It is bonded to the substrate with strong adhesive or pressed in with an interference fit, making it suitable for special fragile substrates that cannot be injection molded, riveted, or self-tapping.
   Core products: Adhesive threaded inserts, interference-fit threaded sleeves, threaded inserts for ceramics/glass, and inserts for fragile substrates.
